Deck the Chairs - November 21 โ January 1
More than fourty American Red Cross life guard chairs will be decorated in coastal-themed designs and lights in Downtown Jacksonville Beach. Kickoff is Saturday, November 23rd with chair decorating, music, hot cocoa, judging and lighting ceremonies. deckthechairs.org.
Jacksonville Light Boat Parade - November 28
The Jacksonville Light Boat Parade has been a holiday tradition for more than 30 years. Vessels of all shapes and sizes adorn their hulls with festive decorations as they float along the north and south banks of the St. Johns River. Residents and visitors alike gather along the north and south riverbanks in downtown Jacksonville to witness this magical event. The evening then culminates with one of the best fireworks show on the First Coast featuring โwaterfallsโ off of the Main Street and Acosta Bridges.
Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens ZOOLights- December 17 - 20 and December 26 - January 3
Thousands of lights will transform Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens into a luminous experience this holiday season. The paths through gardens and exhibits will be accented by moving sculptures, lighted trees, and animal silhouettes. Visit JacksonvilleZoo.org for tickets and more information.
WinterFEST at Adventure Landing in Jacksonville Beach- November 21 - January 3
Bringing snow to sunny Florida, you can enjoy a variety of winter activities and holiday family fun at WinterFEST. Adventure Landing is transforming our Shipwreck Island Water Park into a cozy Alpine experience complete with ice skating, Blizzard Bluff Village, Crystal Creek Lodge and Santa's Workshop.
